Solar radiation is one of the safest, most effective and most economical sources of energy, which has the potential to become the main source of energy in future . since the construction and commissioning of a Photovoltaic power station is done only once, the location of these power plants surely becomes the most important component in the process of their construction . DAMAVAND company just has been rewarded a tender of 100 MW solar farm located at Northeast of IRAN, near the KASHMAR county in Khorasan Razavi Province. This tender was held by the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA). Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA) is a governmental organization affiliated to the Ministry of Energy and is responsible to promote the widespread adoption and sustainable use of all forms of renewable energy and increase energy efficiency in Iran.<\/p>

SATBA serves as the principal platform to develop clean and renewable energy, a center of excellence, and a repository of policy, technology, resource and financial knowledge on renewable energy.<\/p>

\u00a0Establishing and developing new synergies, promoting incentive and enabling policies, building capacity and fostering cooperation, supporting private sector, setting attractive tariffs, concluding long-term power purchase agreements, providing the required infrastructures, are among SATBA organization\u2019s activity<\/p>
